WHAT FLORICANE DOES

Quite simply, we create spaces for people to come together and talk. Sometimes they talk about the past, and sometimes they talk about the future. Sometimes we guide the conversation, and sometimes it takes on a life of its own.

Before we walk into the room, we engage individuals, organizations and communities, and invite them to be part of a discussion. While we’re there, we create opportunities for interaction, co-creation and storytelling. And when we’re done, we summarize what we heard and help create new pathways forward.

Whether we’re creating a resident-centered vision for a neighborhood, supporting the work of community based organizations, or gathering data for regional planning organizations, we rely on our skill as facilitators to ensure the voice of residents and community members, and other stakeholders, are amplified in ways that they can be heard.
